Crataegus monogyna (Common Hawthorn) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Andrena dorsata, Empis praevia, Common carder bumblebee, and Eumerus funeralis. Individuals can grow to 15 m.
