Vernonanthura brasiliana is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, Pernambuco, Pará, Distrito Federal, Paraná, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Cerrado, Maranhao, Amazônia, Rio De Janeiro, Caatinga, Espirito Santo, The Neotropics, ParaíBa, Ceará, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves and achenes.
