They are native to Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Distrito Federal, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, The Neotropics, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes.
