Helicteres (Helicteres) is a genus of tree in the family mallows. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Ruby Topaz and Broad-tipped Hermit. Individuals can grow to 3.5 m.
