They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pampa, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, GoiáS, The Neotropics, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, SãO Paulo, and Pantanal. They have achenes.
