Isoperla acula Jewett, 1962, 38:18. Holotype $ ; 7 mi. N.E. of Academy, elevation 800 feet, Fresno, Co., California, USA (CAS) (male genitalia, and headpronotal pattern).

Male. — Macropterous. Length of forewings 9-10 mm; length of body 9-10 mm. General body color light brown. Ocelli of head connected by narrow band of dark brown pigmentation; interocellar area and rest of head light (Fig. 153). Pronotum light brown with median yellow stripe, and lateral brown rugosities
