Caulescent. Leaves narrowly triangular, 5 cm. long, 16-18 mm. broad at base, shortacuminate, reddish, not mealy nor glaucous; flowering stems about 1 dm. long; inflorescence a few spreading secund racemes, somewhat glaucous ; pedicels 6-12 mm. long; calyxlobes triangular-ovate, 4 mm. long ; corolla pale lemon-yellow, 10-12 -mm. long.
Type locality : San Simeon Bay, San lyuis Obispo County, California. Distribution : Known only from the type locality.
