Lygodium microphyllum (Small Leaf Climbing Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family climbing ferns. They are climbers. They are native to Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Burundi, Australia, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Africa, Nigeria, Micronesia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Angola, Guinea, Tanzania, Cameroon, Thailand, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Liberia, Ghana, Zambia, Asia, Uganda, Papua New Guinea, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, The Philippines, Brunei, Africa, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, China, and India. They have alternation of generations.
