Actinostachys pennula (Ray Fern) is a species of herb in the family comb ferns. They are native to Amazônia, Distrito Federal, Cerrado, Roraima, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Tocantins, Paraná, ParaíBa, Ceará, The Contiguous United States, Sergipe, Puerto Rico, Amapá, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Mata Atlântica. They have alternation of generations.
