Ocotea floribunda (Laurel Espada) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Amazônia, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pará, Minas Gerais, Acre (Brazil), Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, and Paraná. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
