Persea borbonia (Redbay) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Florida, Eastern North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Epeolus, Cellophane bees, Colletes brimleyi, and Colletes nudus. Individuals can grow to 70 feet.
