Equisetum sylvaticum (Wood Horsetail) is a species of perennial herb in the family horsetails. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, United States, Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. They have simple, photosynthetic stem leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m. They have alternation of generations.
