See remarks here for habitat, and other shots of the same species.Both species still were used for broom making some 20 years ago, and for this reason locals didn't clearly distinguish between them (also, they are distantly similar in habitus). Nowadays, as a consequence of conservation measures put into play by Peter Biskup, some local pride in this (here) rare plant is rising, a plant which didn't get much attention previously (except, as said, for broom making, which isn't done anymore).
