Artemisia (Chickensage) is a genus of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Western North America, Greenland, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by wool-carder bee, Heriades spiniscutis, Stelis permaculata, and Hypocritanus lemur. Individuals can grow to 0.55 m.
