Helianthus occidentalis (Fewleaf Sunflower) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Sparnopolius confusus, and Agile Long-horned Bee. Individuals can grow to 1 m.
