Akebia quinata (Five Leaf Akebia) is a species of shrub in the family Lardizabalaceae. They are climbers. They are native to China, Japan, Eastern Asia, North Korea, and South Korea. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Bumblebee and early mining bee. Individuals can grow to 7.1 m.
