Ficus trigonata (Chalate) is a species of tree in the family Moraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Tocantins, Cerrado, Mato Grosso, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Roraima, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pará, Amapá, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 28 m.
