Urera baccifera (Scratchbush) is a species of tree in the family Urticaceae. They are native to Ceará, Alagoas, Sergipe, RondôNia, GoiáS, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, Roraima, Amapá, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Espirito Santo, Pará, Puerto Rico, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Amazônia, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, Bahia, Maranhao, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have achenes.
