Ranunculus occidentalis (Western Buttercup) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They are native to Alaska, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Tenthredinidae, Halictus tripartitus, Andrena caerulea, and Panurginus nigrihirtus.
