Opuntia polyacantha (Panhandle Prickly Pear) is a species of shrub in the family cacti. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Notamblyscirtes simius, Pahaska Skipper, Polites rhesus, and Green Skipper. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
