C. geometrica is found in Australian and Asian waters. It looks like a purple slug covered in little cotton wool balls. The rhinophores and gills in this photo (at Manly) are yellow but they are often green.

This colourful species of nudibranch has only been found in the tropics to date, including Indonesia, New Caledonia and north Queensland. This individual has managed to make it to Sydney, thanks to the strengthening warm waters of the EAC. Photo; Bluefish Point, Sydney
