Montipora maeandrina (Ehrenberg 1834)

Montipora maeandrina is a species of cnidarians in the family Acroporidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Montipora maeandrina form shallow marine sediments. Montipora maeandrina form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations and asexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
