Packera plattensis (Prairie Groundsel) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Eastern North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Plebejus melissa, Polites rhesus, and Boisduval's Blue. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
