Octopus eudora Gray, 1849

DIAGNOSIS.—Arms short, arm formula II = III = IV > I. Suckers of moderate size. Web shallow. Skin smooth, “ocular tentacles none” (Gray, 1849:9).

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION.—Gray, 1849:9.

TYPE LOCALITY.—Western tropical Atlantic Ocean, Jamaica.

TYPES.—Syntypes: BMNH 1846.8.31.3, 2 small females, ML undetermined (see “Discussion”).

DISTRIBUTION.—Known only from the type locality.
