Mollugo verticillata (Green Carpetweed) is a species of annual herb in the family carpet-weeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, GoiáS, Mato Grosso, ParaíBa, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, Santa Catarina, Piauí, Sergipe, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, The Contiguous United States, Pampa, SãO Paulo, Maranhao, RondôNia, Roraima, Bahia, AmazôNia, Caatinga, Alagoas, Pará, Paraná, Tocantins, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Chalcosyrphus nemorum, Bombylius pulchellus, Trineura, and Polistes. Individuals can grow to 0.1 m.
