Description

Perennial herb growing from corms with a solitary foliage leaf, inserted on the upper third of the stem. Flowers solitary at the ends of a "rhipidium", blue to violet with yellow nectar guides. The flowers are short lived, opening in the morning and fading in the late afternoon of the same day.
