Rhododendron occidentale (Western Azalea) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Pale Swallowtail, Western Tiger Swallowtail, and Buff-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
