Chamissoa altissima (False Chaff Flower) is a species of shrub in the family Amaranthaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Amapá, Espirito Santo, Caatinga, Rio De Janeiro, Puerto Rico, Roraima, Pará, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahia, Paraná, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Rio Grande Do Sul, The Neotropics, RondôNia, Cerrado, Pernambuco, Acre (Brazil), Ceará, ParaíBa, Alagoas, GoiáS, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have simple, broad leaves.
