Plumbago zeylanica (Wild Leadwort) is a species of shrub in the family Plumbaginaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Amazônia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, U.S. Virgin Islands, Sergipe, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Pernambuco, Maranhao, Pará, Alagoas, Piauí, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Norte, US Minor Outlying Islands, Ceará, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Caatinga, The Contiguous United States, Minas Gerais, and Puerto Rico. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Little Fire Ant, Phocides pigmalion, and Dorantes Longtail.
