Viola pubescens (Downy Yellow Violet) is a species of perennial herb in the family Violaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have yellow flowers and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Osmia pumila, Carlin's Andrena, Leathery Sweat Bee, and Nomada salicis. Individuals can grow to 1.3 feet.
