Viola sororia (Common Blue Violet) is a species of annual herb in the family Violaceae. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have magenta flowers and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Violet Miner, Cherry Mining Bee, Half-black Bumblebee, and Spring Beauty Andrena.
