Three kinds of heather occur on Mull. This is Bell Heather (Erica cinerea) with some Common Heather (Calluna vulgaris) mixed in, maily to the right of the image. Cross-leaved Heath (erica tetralix) is also quite common on the island. At the edge of moorland, North Mull, Sept. 9th 2011. Image I11-0133
