Quassia amara (Quassia Wood) is a species of tree in the family Simaroubaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Maranhao, Amazônia, Roraima, Amapá, and Pará. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 9.9 m.
