Suriana maritima (Bay Cedar) is a species of tree in the family Surianaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Middle America, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Piauí, Bahia, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), U.S. Virgin Islands, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 3.1 m.
