Angelica atropurpurea (Purplestem Angelica) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Parhelophilus laetus.
