Impatiens glandulifera (Himalayan Balsam) is a species of annual herb in the family Balsaminaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Pakistan, Nepal, and India. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Lucilia caesar, and Vosnesensky Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
