Description

Perennial grass with slender decumbent culms 30-100 cm. Leaves lanceolate to narrowly ovate. Inflorescence a sparsely branched panicle, secondary branches often poorly developed. Spikelets ovate to ovate-lanceolate, maroon to purple tinged.
