Amsinckia tessellata (Bristly Fiddleneck) is a species of annual herb in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Vanessa cardui, Bat MERS-like coronavirus, Battus philenor hirsuta, and White-lined Sphinx.
