Mertensia lanceolata (Prairie Bluebells) is a species of perennial herb in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Large Marble, Callophrys sheridanii, Red-belted Bumble Bee, and Rocky Mountain Duskywing. Individuals can grow to 0.16 m.
