Antarctia valstana Schaus
Antarctia valstana Schaus, 1933, p. 587.
Forewing 16.5 mm. Head, thorax, and forewing dark greyish brown. Hindwing pale yellow; outer marginal fringe greyish brown anteriorly. Abdomen golden yellow dorsally, with broad, greyish brown longitudinal band medially; ventrally greyish brown.
A single male (USNM 34447) from Tucuman, Argentina, is designated in the original description.
Holotype ♂: “Collection Wm Schaus; Tucuman, Argentina; Type No. 34447 U.S.N.M.; Antarctia valstana Schs type; Holotype ♂ Antarctia valstana Schaus A.W. 1967; Arctiidae genitalia slide No. AW530.”
