They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Cerrado, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, Acre (Brazil), Pantanal, Amazônia, Distrito Federal, GoiáS, Paraná, and Santa Catarina. They have achenes.
