Robust woody climber (in ours). Inflorescences of cymes in the axils of the upper leaves, forming a terminal panicle. Corolla white. Stamens inserted on large (c. 2 × 2 mm) glandular-pilose scales near the base of the corolla tube. Ovary with a very short beak. Style articulated at the base, caducous. Fruit indehiscent, ± woody.
