Schinopsis brasiliensis (Chamacoco) is a species of tree in the family Anacardiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pernambuco, Ceará, Bahia, Sergipe, South America, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, Piauí, Mato Grosso, ParaíBa, Alagoas, GoiáS, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Caatinga, and Cerrado. They have compound, broad leaves and samaras.
