They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Maranhao, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Ceará, Pará, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande Do Norte, Espirito Santo, ParaíBa, Tocantins, GoiáS, AmazôNia, Bahia, Pernambuco, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves and achene.
