They are native to Minas Gerais, ParaíBa, Sergipe, Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Piauí, Ceará, Amazônia, Pará, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, GoiáS, Pantanal, Maranhao, Caatinga, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Alagoas, Cerrado, and Mato Grosso. They have achenes.
