Description
provided by Flora of Zimbabwe
An uncommon scrambling shrub or climbing liane. It is very similar to Combretum microphyllum and differs mainly in its habitat preference and the fact that C. microphyllum always flowers before the leaves are present. The two taxa are therefore sometimes regarded as subspecies.
