Waltheria communis A. St.-Hil.

Waltheria communis is a species of perennial herb in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Piauí, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, Cerrado, Pampa, Alagoas, GoiáS, Pantanal, Pernambuco, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, Tocantins, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 0.26 m.
