Ocotea puberula is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Amapá, Caatinga, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, Pará, Alagoas, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), AmazôNia, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Santa Catarina, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, and GoiáS. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 20 m.
