Large glabrous lianes with clear latex. Leaves large, elliptic to broadly ovate with long petioles. Inflorescences extra-axillary, 3-many-flowered, lax. Corolla lobes free. Corona tripartite; staminal corona with erect lobes, supported by interstaminal corona lobes. Anthers ascending to erect, pressed into the sides of the style head. Follicles long, glabrous.
