Spodoptera exigua (Beet Armyworm) is a species of Lepidoptera in the family owlet moths. They are native to Asia. They visit flowers of rubber rabbitbrush and fringed amaranth. They are nocturnal herbivores. They rely on flight and gliding to move around.
